The Grant Group specializes in particular in the following clinical areas (click on on each to learn more):

To ensure the best plan and outcomes, a psychiatric evaluation is performed to align the patient’s symptoms with the most accurate diagnosis, taking into consideration the individual’s personality, biology and life story.

TMS Therapy

The Grant Group is proud to partner with TMS Neuro Solutions to provide TMS Therapy, an alternative treatment for patients suffering from depression for whom medication has proven ineffective. Chemical Dependency

Chemical dependency is the continued use of a substance that had an initial benefit for the patient far past its intended dosage or requirement. This leads to dangerous increases in the substance due to tolerance, severe withdrawal symptoms, inordinate amounts of time procuring or recovering from the drug and, unfortunately, negative impacts on your relationship and everyday living.

Alcohol Abuse

Severe problem drinking will be determined by a very specific outline of criteria then diagnosed as mild, moderate or severe.

Mood Disorders

Mood disorders can stem from a variety of causes and come in just as many forms. During your initial assessment, we will work with you to determine your specific mood disorder as well as a treatment plan of therapy and/or medications that are right for you.

Psychotic Disorders

Patients suffering from a psychotic disorder experience abnormal thinking and perceptions, making them lose touch with reality. Delusions and hallucinations are the two major symptoms that result from psychotic disorders such as delusional disorder, postpartum psychosis and schizophrenia.

Behavioral Issues

Behavioral issues are more conspicuous than most disorders as they are disruptive, resulting in temper tantrums, physical aggression, excessive argumentativeness and other forms of defiance or resistance to authority. A few of these conditions include oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Lap-Band Evaluations

A psychological profile is often an overlooked but necessary step in determining the eligibility and preparation of a candidate for a Lap-Band procedure. Treating the patient’s psychological issues with food has been proven to provide the best post-operative results.

ADD or ADHD

Difficulty staying focused and paying attention, difficulty controlling behavior and hyperactivity characterizes ADD/ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The disease is more common during childhood but can carry well through adolescence and adulthood.

Depression

Depression is a common but serious illness that severely interferes with daily life and causes pain for not only the patient but his or her loved ones. Through the right medication, psychotherapy and other methods, we can help lift your depression and live a more fulfilled life.

Schizophrenia

We treat schizophrenia, a severe brain disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Common symptoms include hallucinations, delusions and extremely disordered thinking and behavior. Both adults and adolescents can experience schizophrenia.

Bipolar Disorder

Also known as manic-depressive illness, bipolar disorder is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels and the ability to carry out everyday tasks. More severe than the common “ups and downs” most people experience, bipolar disorder often results in poor relationships, low school or work performance and even suicidal thoughts.

Anxiety

Excessive anxiety can be difficult to control and may negatively affect your day-to-day living. Every patient’s situation is different, so our goal is to determine which type of anxiety from which you suffer and devise a treatment plan that fits the scope and severity of your condition.

Suboxone

If you suffer from opioid addiction, we can properly diagnose your condition and recommend an effective medication-assisted treatment that includes Suboxone. Suboxone has been shown to more effectively suppress withdrawal symptoms and cravings for opioids without causing the euphoria found from using other opioid addiction medications.

TMS Therapy

TMS Therapy safely stimulates and activates the neuro-circuitry within the brain. This, in turn, causes the brain to produce more correct balances of dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine. LEARN MORE
