Debra is an Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of New Mexico and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Debra’s clinical background includes more than 20 years of intensive care medical experience, including Level I Trauma, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Medical ICU and Post Anesthesia Care. Her psychiatric experience includes private practice, inpatient services, medical management at Texas Woman’s University Counseling Center and supportive therapeutic treatment modalities in collaboration with area psychotherapists.
Debra is a member of several professional organizations and has earned multiple awards for academic excellence and professional endeavors.
Debra is currently an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Nursing Graduate Studies at The University of Texas at Arlington. She recently closed out a private practice with a respected psychiatrist in Denton, Texas, and joined Dr. Grant’s practice in the Spring of 2014.
A native Texan from Fort Worth, Debra lived in Denton for ten years prior to moving back to the DFW area recently where she is happy to be closer to family and friends in the Ft. Worth area.
